Te Manu Ora
‘To Live A Life Not Exist Within One’
He Taonga tuku iho te oranga whakahonoretia.
(Life is a promise, Honour it!)
Te Manu Ora was foundered by a Maori Wahine (woman) called Kimberly. Her tribal lineage is Ngati Wai, Ngati Maru, Ngati Porou, Ngapuhi, Scottish and Irish. Kimberly had previously, 'not lived her life, but merely existed within one.' She had for thirty-six years endured a life of intense physical, mental and spiritual abuse, and stayed silent. Associating with gangs, drugs & violence! Not knowing that this was wrong Kimberly used this knowledge to enflicked it upon others. She caused a lot of damage to her self and others. It has taken her ten years to be able to heal her past. And that healing continues in some areas of her life, today. She has always had a deep love and passion for Io Matua Kore - Creator of all. Kimberly now does what is asked of her from above without doubt or question. Her statement in life is; "I am a child of , and facilitator for above, a Maori Women I am no more and no less than anybody else". Kimberly has come out the other side, into the true essense of the woman she was meant to be. She has stepped into her 'true identity', born with the ability to see, hear & feel, Wairua (Spirit) she is, 'A Healer' of Mind, Body & Soul. (Wairua). Teacher, Counsellor, Life Coach, & does private sittings. Plus public speaking. Her love for our Creator is above all else and can be clearly seen in her work (mahi). Her healings that she facilitates are instant and long lasting, to the amazment of others. Te Manu Ora's programs have been written by and are taught by Kimberly. They were formed from her experiences in life and blended together with the old knowledge, handed down to her from her Tupuna's (Ancestors) and guided by our Creator. Who have walked with her and talked with her since she was two years of age. Kimberly is now giving back to all those who helped her along her journey, giving thanks and offering assistance to all those who seek it. Te Manu Ora's waka (canoe/boat) was placed in the water in November 2007. When her waka was launched into the wai (water) she was joined by: Te Haumarangai Conor, (Hector) is our much loved and respected Kaumatua (Elder), who teaches Te Reo (our Maori Language) Tikanga (Lore/Customs) and Kawa (Rules) of the Marae (Meeting House). He guides us all with his aroha (Love).
